The following guide demonstrates the recommended method for cleaning and disinfecting powder coated gym equipment.

Remove any excess chalk with a nylon bristle brush.

Clean the part with a solution of mild soap or detergent using a cloth or paper towel.

Dry with a clean cloth.

Wet the part with a cleaner or wipe containing an EPA approved disinfectant.

NOTE: Make sure the solution does not contain alcohol, phenol, bleach, and ammonia.

Leave the disinfectant in place for the duration specified by the wipe manufacturer.

Wipe the part down with a clean cloth.
