Introduction

The following guide demonstrates the recommended method for cleaning and disinfecting porous fabrics such as Cordura.

  1. Clean with soap and water. Allow the material to completely dry.

  2. Wet the material with a cleaner or wipe containing an EPA-approved disinfectant.
    • Wet the material with a cleaner or wipe containing an EPA-approved disinfectant.

    • NOTE: Make sure the disinfectant does not contain alcohol, phenol, bleach, or ammonia.

    • Ensure the disinfectant stays on the fabric long enough to be effective per the cleaning manufacturer's instructions.

    • Allow it to dry completely before use.
