  2. Use the insert tool to insert the end cap (without loctite)

    • Make sure the end cap is easy to screw in, if it gets stuck remove and clean the threads with a brush

    • If the end cap is easy to screw in and out, remove end cap and go to next step.

  3. Open Loctite 648 kit, snap tube neck below cap.
    • Open Loctite 648 kit, snap tube neck below cap.

    • Apply (1) drop of Loctite to the threads on the sleeve

    • Rotate sleeve 180° and apply another drop of Loctite to the threads on the sleeve. Each sleeve should have (2) drops of Loctite on the threads.

    • Make sure you don't apply Loctite near the hardware. If you get it there, clean with a damp towel.

  4. Grab end cap with one hand. Use other hand to apply a 1" bead of Loctite to the end cap. Make sure the threads are covered on side you install first.

    • Rotate end cap 180° and apply a second 1" bead of Loctite. Each end cap should have approximately 2" of Loctite.

  5. Place end cap on sleeve. Use tool to screw end cap in place by rotating sleeve counter clock wise.
    • Place end cap on sleeve. Use tool to screw end cap in place by rotating sleeve counter clock wise.

    • Make sure the end cap is screwed all the way in.

  6. Use a towel to clean excess loctite around end cap. Loctite will be fully cured in 24 hours.
