Wet the handle with a cleaner or wipe containing an EPA-approved disinfectant.

NOTE: Make sure the cleaner does not contain alcohol, phenol, bleach, or ammonia.

Leave the disinfectant in place for the duration specified by the wipe manufacturer.

Wipe down with a clean cloth.

Remove any excess chalk with a nylon bristle brush.

Clean with a solution of mild soap or detergent, using a cloth or paper towel.

Dry with a clean cloth.
